Below are the mentioned Best Motherboards For Ryzen 9 3900x.

1.

Asus ROG Strix X570-E

Asus has been introducing some master class stuff since its beginning, and by bringing ASUS ROG Strix X570-E to the X570 family, the well-known brand has yet again outdone itself.

This motherboard has everything to be mentioned as the best Ryzen 9 3900x motherboard. You can quickly expect this buddy to take your PC scenes to the next level while improving your Rig’s overall performance. It’s something you can explore your processor’s power.

This motherboard has PCIe 4.0, with an actively cooled chipset for extra thermal safety. Moreover, having LAN with Wi-Fi 6 to Gen 4 M.2 slots capable of unidirectional speeds up to 64 GB/s, you can only imagine the convenience.

When looked up close, you would find only two M.2 Slots with eight I/O-panel USB3 Gen2 and eight SATA ports, making this piece more than just a gaming motherboard. It will pretty much handle anything that comes in its way.

The downside to this motherboard that dragged it down to this position? Well, this board provides less performance in gaming than it does in running all those RBG accessories. I mean, you are paying more for the extra bells and whistles rather than the features that count.

But guess what, the price bar is relatively lower than its other competitors that too while excelling in every department, making it an excellent choice for any gamer looking for an early X570 set. Who doesn’t enjoy “lit” gaming after all!

2.

MSI X470 Gaming Plus

MSI is a name well known when it comes to the world of computer accessories. And talking of the best motherboard for Ryzen 9 3900x, I simply couldn’t get over this beauty, which is as incredible on looks as on performance. A power-packed package, this buddy will handle anything an avid gamer can throw at it.

Talking of the features that make it unique can handle some top-end processors, including some of the elite class categories like the Ryzen 5000 series. Quite shocking right? Well, AMD has shown quite a firm stance on the subject and has just recently confirmed it.

Moreover, the MSI X470 Gaming Plus is fully capable of handling. DDR4-3200+(OC) Memory while also featuring the award-winning; click BIOS 5, which is quite famous for its exceptionally high-resolution scalable font, favorites, and of course, the search function; one of the solid factors adding up to the price.

One thing a Pro-gamer doesn’t like? It’s probably those lags and high ping that ruin online gaming’s sole purpose, which is to be at the top in the intense competition. Since powerful gaming hardware has been the selling feature of vendors like MSI, they have included a gaming LAN with LAN Protect that ensures low latency and bandwidth management.

Also, there is Multi-GPU support to make sure you enjoy top-notch graphics without FPS drops.

Dual-channel ECC/Non-ECC Unbuffed DDR4

Our Verdict:

Excellent design with top-notch features, but relatively expensive. I would love to spend my money on it. But with the TOMAMAX in line, I would sure give it a second thought.

3.

MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX

What if I tell you there’s something as good as the X470, but half of its price? Well, that is MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX. Another masterpiece from the same vendor has everything to be mentioned among the best motherboards for ryzen 9 3900x.

Having support for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd generation of the series, you will love how it handles your Rig, no matter if you are a gamer or just a casual computer user who does power-eating stuff.

Talking of this motherboard’s prominent features, you can expect it to handle DDR4 memory, that too up to 4133(OC) MHz. Though this might not seem much for everyone, only a gamer understands what overclocking means when you throw the 5th generation games at it.

To complement this holy cause even further, the extended PWM heat sink and relatively enhanced circuit design ensure overclocked, high-end processors run effortlessly. That, too, without any heat throttling.

Enjoy a revolutionary and lighting fast gaming experience with the 1x turbo M.2, AMD turbo USB 3.2 gen 2, and store mi technology. Not to mention the premium layout and digital power design that allows next level performance by supporting extra cores.

Gigabyte X570 Aorus Elite

Another expensive beauty on our list, there’s nothing to dislike about it if, of course, you have got the money. As a devoted gamer, I can proudly say that this one has everything you can imagine. From looks to performance, it’s just on-spot

I would highly recommend it to everyone who intends to have a Ryzen 9 3900x installed in their Rig. This buddy can pretty much handle anything we see on the premium charts, but with a bit more bells and whistles. They had to add something to justify the price anyway.

Moving on to what makes it unique, the first thing, apart from its pleasing looks, we get our eye on is the three M.2 slots that allow multiple SSDs installation. Also, wireless networking, which, when accompanied by the expansion feature, gives tough competition to its peers.

Not only that, but the 14-phase VRM design ensures that your CPU remains super cool with a lot of liquid floating around. This means overclocking won’t be a problem at all, something a gamer constantly does to maximize his fps. Not to mention the contribution of numerous VRMs to the holy cause. And if that’s not enough, the heat spreaders on M.2 slots will just do the job for you.

But as said earlier, before you fall in love with this beauty, make sure you have enough money as it’s something I would call a gold digger of motherboards.

Overall, it’s an awesome RyzenMobo with everything you need to push your processor’s performance to the peak.

Why We Like It
Key Specifications:

Supports every Ryzen Processor
Advanced Thermal Design
Dual-channel ECC/ non-ECC unbuffered DDR4, 4 DIMMs
Next-Gen connectivity

Our Verdict:

Gigabyte has a long history of introducing premium quality stuff to the market, and this one stands as no exception. The only thing that pushed it down to the third position is its huge price tag, which doesn’t seem to be budget-friendly at all—an excellent overall board with providing tones of features. However, if you aren’t willing to spend much, go for the previously mentioned option!

5.

Asus Prime X570-P

It’s not something I would call an aesthetically designed piece of tech, but undoubtedly one of the most solid-looking ones that portray the vendor’s pure minimalist ideas. Not emphasizing much on the looks, they sure have put immense hard work into this motherboard’s functionality, resulting in a feature-packed, cost-effective PC accessory.

Although the price of Asus Prime X570-P is slightly higher than the previously mentioned option, quite rightly, since its limits don’t stay confined in the third generation of Ryzen, instead, you can expect to handle the Zen 3 Ryzen 5000 easily. Immensely powerful.

Well, that was just one side of this beauty; there’s much more to explore within this beast. The motherboard comes with the industry’s top-rated cooling system, which has detailed control over the fan’s speed. Not to mention the AIO pump, which is just another addition to its leading fan control system. The overclocking capabilities are also top-notch, allowing you to explore the new limits of your processor.

But the features don’t end here; there’s still much more left to this beast, next-gen connectivity being one of them that makes it fully capable of reaching that extra speed one expects from a super-fast, high-end PC rig. There’s a SYNC RGB header with next-Gen RGB strips. Your experience will be lit, both in terms of performance and the environment.

Why We Like It
Key Specifications:

ATX form factor
AMD X570 chipset
Aura Sync RGB header
Socket AM4
4x dual-channel DDR4-4400 (OC)

Our Verdict:

A minimal, solid-looking motherboard that will just pull off the job without any extra embellishments. Not something I would personally choose for a gaming setup, as I’m more in RGBs stuff, but it has some decent features to attract performance loving geeks.

6.

ASUS TUF Gaming X570-Plus

Got some money? Aesthetic design and high-end performance support, too, when paired with onboard GB lighting, make it the best motherboard for Ryzen 9 3900x; however, it is for a relatively high price.

It is compatible with any CPU from the Ryzen 3rd generation. Moreover, if you plan to push your computer to the limits, which as an avid gamer you probably will, nothing beats this monster as long as you have a great cooling system.

Due to its black, yellow, and LED design, it looks nothing less than a beautiful piece of tech that will only compliment your setup’s looks. Meanwhile, the memory storage on this motherboard is impeccable; it stores about 4400 MHz while consisting of 2x M.2 PCIe 4.0 slots and about 8 SATA III connectors, which are more than enough.

There are also expansion slots, a PCle 4.0 that runs at 16x speed, and two PCle 4.0 slots that run at 1x speed. Additional features like supporting AMD Crossfire and gigabit LAN with Bluetooth 5.0 modules make it even more preferable over the last model, if not for the price factor.

And guess what, ASUS TUF Gaming X570-Plus is one of the few motherboards for Ryzen 9 3900x that provides studio-quality audio credited to Realtek ALC S1200A8-Channel HD audio.

All in all a quite an expensive piece, but not over-priced for its features. I would highly recommend it to everyone who has got the bucks. This beasty will handle your processor like a Pro!

Why We Like It
Key Specifications:

AMD AM4 Socket and PCIe 4.0
Next-Gen connectivity
Comprehensive cooling with multiple heat sinks
Pre-cool socket and Digi+ VRM for extreme durability
Compatible with every 3rd Gen Ryzen and Zen 3 Ryzen 5000 processors.

Our Verdict:

The thing is simple. After the previously mentioned model, it is the only thing I would personally trust and buy for its price. Every feature included in the model is right on the spot, which not only complements your PC’s overall look but takes the performance to another level. I would highly recommend it to anyone willing to pay more.

7.

ASRock X570 Pro 4

Well, I wouldn’t call it overpriced, but it’s not something you would like to spend on, if running on a budget, until you are in desperate need of an X570. That said, let’s tell you a bit more about this motherboard in some more depth.

So first things first, ASrock isn’t one of those famous brands most PC geeks opt to settle down on, given that their boards are relatively expensive when compared to other vendors. However, I wouldn’t tag it as a highly-priced piece, especially when we look at the premium quality they put in their motherboards.

But guess what, unlike the previously mentioned board falling in its price range, it only supports Ryzen processors up to the third generation. This means it won’t be an excellent investment to make if you are willing to upgrade your PC anytime soon. However, it’s not that there isn’t anything special. Of course, they have added some attractive features to the package.

The ASRock X570 has a ten power phase design capable of handling DDR4-4400 (OC) and on-board Wi-Fi connectivity. Moreover, there’s also an on-board 7.1 CH HD audio channel, another plus point. Other than that, there are 8 SATA slots, multiple PCIe slots, and4 Ram slots that will pull off quite decently the demands of today’s requirements.

Why We Like It
Key Specifications:

Latest generation 4.0 Steel PCIe slot
Dual Hyper M. 2
Polychrome RGB
AMD smart access memory

Our Verdict:

Probably the cheapest variant from the x570 series, you won’t regret spending your bucks on it. With decent features and minimal design, it will overall complement your setup and Rig quite efficiently. Highly recommended if you are running on a budget but still desire to have a high-end motherboard.

ASUS ROG Strix X570-I

Compact, power-packed, and aesthetically designed, this motherboard ticks every box that it takes to be the best motherboard for ryzen 9 3900x or even the 5000 series. Just from the design, you can predict this thing to be an absolute beast. Aggressive and colorful at the same time, you will love how ASUS has fitted in their signature design in this board, without trying to compromise on any feature. You name it, and it simply has it.

Moving on to what this beasty offers, the Strix X570-I has a solid AM4 socket with a PCIe 4.0 ideal for a processor of any generation from Ryzen while offering next-generation gaming connectivity. Moreover, to make sure your online gaming sessions don’t lag at any point, there’s an integrated Intel Gigabit Ethernet with Asus LANGuard and Wi-Fi 6, guaranteeing a perfect round of multiplayer bliss.

The cooling system has been made in a way to dissipate maximum heat. There are actively cooled VRMs, chipset Combo heat sinks, and a heat pipe to absorb and dissipate heat readily. Moreover, the AIO pump header and multiple chassis fan headers are just further additions to its already excellent cooling system.

Along with other bells and whistles, other things that will add to your experience is the limitless customization options, which include ASUS exclusive Aura Sync RGB lighting, with a few RGB headers. The High-quality on-board onboard sound system is just another thing to admire about this beauty.

All in all, a relatively expensive option, but merely worth it.

Why We Like It
Key Specifications:

AMD AM4 socket with PCIe 4.0
Next-gen connectivity
Optimal power solution
Comprehensive cooling design
RGB lighting

Our Verdict:

Just like any premium motherboard, this one also has every good feature a gamer wants. However, when we look at the price, it sits at a relatively expensive side of the chart. So guess what, forget about it if you are a budget buddy!

MSI MEG X570 ACE Motherboard

Another top of the line addition from MSI to this list, the MSI MEG X570 ACE, is fully functional and has everything to be called the best motherboard for ryzen 9 3900x. If I had to entitle the most aggressively aesthetically designed motherboard in this list, it would probably be this one. But it isn’t all about the design. Of course, there are some excellent features to back it up.

It is a decent piece of computer parts that can easily support your 3rd Generation Ryzen processor at its full power, and it does the processors after this series. You also get to enjoy the fast, on-board 2.5G LAN and Gigabit LAN with gaming LAN manager for a flawless and lag-free multiplayer gaming experience.

Along with that, this excellent motherboard features tripe lightning Gen 4 M.2 slots that are fully capable of unidirectional speeds of up to 64 GB/s. Quite a plenty, isn’t it? But that isn’t it. The MEG X570 also has audio boost HD technology that too with isolated circuitry, a dedicated audio processor, and an ESS DAC with amplifier makes it some hot stuff!

When accompanied by the fantastic lighting system with 29 effects and 16-million colors when paired with extreme customization, the futuristic design makes this motherboard an excellent choice for everyone who wants a power-packed performance motherboard with uniquely awesome looks. Buyers Guide

Well, there are specific attributes that it takes to be placed among the best. Here, let’s tell you about certain things you should look for in a motherboard to find your system’s perfect choice. So let’s get into it:

What should you look for…

Size

There are three sizes in motherboards. ATX, Micro-ATX, and Mini-ATX. ATX is the standard size for motherboards and provides relatively more space in terms of slots and plugs. However, the number of connections decreases down in Micro-ATX while minimized in Mini-ATX, where you can just add a single card and minimal ram and storage device.

Ports

See how many ports are there on the board for external connections. Additionally, check if it allows you to add any exterior connection options. It will enable you to add additional ports if the pre-existing ones aren’t enough.

Number of RAM Slots

See the number of RAM slots. Ideally, 4 are just enough. However, if you are more into gaming, go for the one with 8 places to have maximum room for upgrade. Make your choice wisely.

Bottom line

Each of the selected motherboards is great for the said processor. However, the differences that my judgment is based on are diverse. While some are cost-effective and provide the most basic features to pull off the job, others are fully equipped with all the extra bells and whistles of an actual gaming PC.

As the reviews are based entirely from a gamer’s perspective, all the selected models are the best motherboards for Ryzen 9 3900x, each fully capable of pushing the processor to its extreme limits. You won’t have issues with any of those mentioned above, that’s for sure.

May your temps are low and fps be high! Happy gaming.
